NEW ORLEANS—The United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association announced on May 18 that three individuals in the NJAC have been recognized as USTFCCCA Division III Regional award winners for the 2012 Outdoor Season. Montclair State junior Heather Gearity was named Women’s Atlantic Region Track Athlete of the Year, while Rowan head coach Derick “Ringo” Adamson was named Women’s Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. Rowan assistant coach Norm Tate was recognized as the USTFCCCA Men’s Atlantic Region Assistant Coach of the Year.
