Claremont, CA – Montclair State has a new national champion and her name is Heather Gearity. Nearly a year after finishing as the runner up in the 400 meter hurdles at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the sophomore took the step to the top of the podium winning the event at Fritz B. Burns Stadium on Saturday evening.
