PHILADELPHIA—The Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors Association announced on June 18 that two NJAC men’s track & field athletes have been named to the 2011-12 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Academic Team. Rowan junior Taylor Purdue was named the Performer of the Year, while Rutgers-Camden senior Tim VanLiew was also selected to the team.
